Black & Decker revs up its range of cordless drills

by Bill Rundle - PPR

Black & Decker has added two great two-speed cordless drill drivers to its range with the 14.4V (EPC142K2) and 18V (EPC182K2) models now available.

Black & Decker’s EPC model aims to give amateur DIYers confidence to complete home projects, as more New Zealanders look to save money through doing it themselves.

The new EPC Cordless Drill Driver is ideal for performing a variety of DIY tasks around the home. The two-speed gearbox gives you the right speed range for the application whether it be drilling into wood or metal or driving screws, while the reverse function lets the user unscrew with ease.

The variable speed and 24 torque clutch settings gives the user all the control when performing screwdriving applications.

Other features of the Cordless Drill Driver include the slide battery system, for quick and easy battery changing; the soft grip, for optimum comfort while drilling; and the keyless chuck for effortless drill bit changes.

The 14.4V model retails for RRP$109 and the 18V for RRP$119. Both drills come in their very own kit box with an extra battery and a 4 year warranty.
