Choosing a NKBA member for your kitchen or bathroom makes sense, the hardest working areas of your home must be well designed and practical as well as looking good. Getting the details right results in spaces that are a pleasure to use, an investment you'll never regret.

A National Kitchen & Bathroom Association Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) or Certified Bathroom Designer (CBD) holds an internationally recognised professional qualification available only through the NKBA. Industry standards are maintained by the NKBA for your peace of mind.

NKBA

Our focus as an association is for the public to ‘choose an NKBA’ member when beginning their project in order to receive a professional job right from the start, through to installation of the Kitchen.

NKBA members have a wealth of experience in finding solutions to specific design challenges, both big and small. They will also ensure nothing is overlooked in respect to the functionality of your kitchen. NKBA members have thorough knowledge of design trends and new products. Our members are fully informed of products, materials and appliance and attend regular product launches, seminars and courses throughout NZ.

NKBA members maintain quality of excellence and professionalism and must sign a code of professional conduct on joining. The NKBA maintains industry standards and offers an arbitration service in the case of disputes.

When you have chosen your NKBA member to take the project on we suggest you make a check list of questions for your designer that may be useful. Published list in our Magazine – Kitchens and Bathrooms with Confidence.
