HOUSE OF THE YEAR AWARD RESULTS -JALCON WINS AGAIN!Five entries and SEVEN awards!
Family-owned and -operated building firm Jalcon Homes has continued its success at the Registered Master Builders House of the Year awards by collecting another six awards at the 2010 Auckland Region awards dinner. “This sees our tally of medals reach 37 for the past 7 years,” says director Lindsay Aitken. “Our continued success is testament to the Jalcon brand and everything we have achieved in just over 17 years.”
Jalcon Homes was awarded Gold medals in Categories* 6 and 7, Silver medals in Categories 5 and 8, as well as in the James Hardie Show Home category, and was category winner in Category 5. When asked to what he attributed this continued success, Lindsay Aitken replied, “We are constantly striving to improve on what has gone before, while staying true to our motto – our promise is our guarantee.” LIndsay, along with wife Julie, established Jalcon Homes in 1993 determined to deliver quality – both in design and construction. “We felt there was room in the New Zealand market for a family-run business, one that understood the unique circumstances families can face when building a home,”. “It’s been a tough time in the building industry over the past couple of years, but Jalcon Homes has been able to weather the worst of it because of our family approach.
